Patient Testimonials

  • In 2018, I had a knee replacement with extreme nerve complications. Pain simply beyond what I could handle or that my excellent doctors could treat with medication. I knew I needed a new level of p.t. expertise. Christine was referred as the very best. She and Sean took my problem seriously. fit me into a their tight schedule instantly and changed my whole routine. The relief and strength-building began there. Six months later I am doing great; strong enough to start back into a final, intensive year of school at age 61. I cannot recommend these wonderful people more highly. Christine’s expertise and encouragement brought healing I was afraid was impossible. I cannot thank them enough. We are so lucky to have her in our community.

  • I’ve had two hip replacements and am a very active senior still competing in sports and enjoying all of the outdoor activities here in Eugene: water skiing, snow skiing, racquetball, softball, hiking and fishing. Christine has been my PT and along with my surgeon have been instrumental in my recoveries. Understanding my goal to return to the activities I love, she has guided me successfully. You won’t find a better PT in the Eugene/Springfield metro area.

  • Christine has taken the time to work with my daughter after a specialty hip surgery and also myself to regain my strength after a lengthy treatment of leukemia. She is so well trained and versatile. She knows her stuff! Other physical therapy offices wouldn’t treat us. I have had PT before but not with someone who cares as much. Go to The Mobility Project for the best care in town!

  • I found Mobility project by searching online by myself, and I can’t be more happy with the results. My first visit was with Christine, who understood my issue perfectly and made the first diagnosis. From the second time I worked with Ashley, who confirmed the diagnosis and continued my mobility therapy. It was hands-on assistance, including massage, and I was given exercises gradually so as not to overwhelm.

I also like the space, and location with free parking all the time I went there, and last but not least, Sean at the desk is also very helpful and nice.

  • If you need physical therapy, I highly recommend Christine Bodner, PT, DPT, CLT, of Mobility Project in downtown Eugene, Oregon. I have had considerable experience with physical therapists over the years for various problems and she is the best! Recently she helped resolve a problem I had with pain on the inside of my calf which turned out to be caused by severe, chronic edema. I did not know that when I went to the doctor (who decided I needed physical therapy). I just knew that my leg hurt then. It does not hurt now, thanks to Christine! As a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), she knew how to use a special, gentle type of massage followed by compression with bandages to reduce the swelling that had reached a point where it was damaging the skin. That problem has been resolved and Christine also taught me a lot about how to prevent that, and other problems, in the future. In addition, Mobility Project is a friendly place, well organized and efficient.

  • Christine takes time and has the knowledge that no other physical therapist has expressed to me and I have been to many. I waited to see Christine and it was well worth it. She diagnosed my problem which was partly caused by a different therapist. Now on the right track I am far more mobile and out of pain! Don’t hesitate, make your appointment today and start feeling better.

  • Christine Bodner is an excellent physical therapist. She is highly competent in a variety of techniques, and is well able to tailor her treatment regime for each individual patient.

My particular case was unusual and difficult. When I first saw her, I was pretty much unable to do any exercise and had discomfort most of the time. Through working with her over time, I have been able to exercise daily and have very few issues. I feel incredibly grateful to her for the help she has given me.

I couldn’t recommend her more highly, and have done so with a couple friends, both of whom had positive experiences.

  • Severe tennis elbow had me out of work and unable to even pick up my son. Christine at The Mobility Project completely cured it over the course of a couple months through deep tissue massage, education, ultrasound, and an effective exercise routine. I can’t imagine a better physical therapy experience and would recommend this clinic to anyone.

  • Very, very good treatment and very knowledgeable of my condition! They are so helpful, courteous, and on time, always. I always feel welcome and know I will receive the best care while I am there. I have shared their information and my experience with Mobility with two of my doctors and they welcomed the referral as Christine Bodner is only one of two specialists here in Eugene who treats my condition. This is my go to place for all future PT.

  • I’ve been dealing with lower back pain for 4 years and after only 3 months of therapy I feel great! The staff were all so sweet and overall had great customer service! I definitely would recommend this place to anybody needing physical therapy.

  • I suffered from back pain for so many years I lost count. Multiple injuries that I never fully recovered from compounded until I was taking medications almost daily.

Over that time, I was given a wide variety of treatments by various practitioners and therapists. They all helped, but I wanted one thing to stick with that was guaranteed to solve the pain once and for all. Sound like magic? Well then, Christine is magic!

Actually, everything she does is firmly based in science. Christine is very knowledgeable and intuitive. She clearly explained how my body mechanics and posture were causing more pain and counteracting anything positive I was doing. Although I felt like a small child learning to walk, Christine’s personalized treatments and program for home care changed my life. As long as I follow what Christine taught me, I can lift heavy objects, (even bucking hay!), do physical house projects, garden, vacuum etc., all without pain.

If I find myself slipping into bad posture and my back starts to twinge, I just self-correct and quickly feel good again.

It is definitely worth the wait to get on Christine’s schedule. And Shawn will do whatever he can to schedule if appointments become available. Thanks so much to both of you!

  • I came here after 10 years of back pain that had gotten so bad I could hardly walk some days. I consulted with several doctors and specialists and spent countless amounts of money on various forms of treatment and testing – none of which helped solve the problem. Finally I called Mobility Project based on the good reviews and the fact it was only 3 blocks from my house. Best decision I’ve ever made. Christine identified the actual cause of the issue during my initial consultation (something that seemed to elude every other person I had seen previously) and we got started with an action plan right away. 6 months later I was discharged with a healthy back, no pain, a ton of knowledge on how to live healthier and treat my body better, and a great resource should I ever need help in the future. Sean and Christine are awesome and I would highly recommend this place!!

  • Christine has been absolutely amazing for my wife, following her second hip replacement. She was able to determine a much better course of treatment for her, than previous therapists. Not that they were bad, Christine is just at another level, thanks for being so helpful, and understanding. Sean is terrific as well, he does an awesome job scheduling, taking care of insurance, and helping to reschedule if something should come up. Thanks for everything, you guys are the absolute best !!

  • I recommend Christine at Mobility Project to the highest. Prior to Christine, my lymphedema (post-breast cancer surgery) was out of control, and caused nerve damage. After Christine and her wonderful expertise, wrappings and massage, my arm is much better. Christine and crew are kind, caring, supportive and professional. I will not return to anyone other than Christine.
